Volunteer

We need you! Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas on site as well as in the lead-up to the event. These are some of the roles we need to fill:

• Pre-event set-up: help set-up the site the day before, and the early morning of, the event
• Post-event tear-down: help tear-down the site right after the event
• Team ambassador: the chief point person who looks after a team, ensures they get what they need, and ensures they get to their races on time
• Paddler greeting and orientation: greet and orient paddlers as they arrive
• VIP greeting: greet VIPs as they arrive and escort them to the VIP Zone
• VIP Zone coordinator: coordinate access, safety, cleanliness, catering, and supplies
• Kid Zone coordinator: coordinate access, safety, cleanliness, and supplies
• Boat loading dock security: control access to the boat loading dock
• Paddler prep zone security: control access to the paddler prep zone
• Food service: prepare breakfast boxes and lunch boxes for paddlers and volunteers
• Donation and information tent: take donations and provide information to paddlers
