Join the Stroll & Dash Volunteer Crew!
Volunteers are at the heart of our Stroll & Dash event and there are lots of ways to be involved. Each year over 200 dedicated volunteers commit their time and effort to make the Stroll & Dash event a success.
In order to ensure that our patients, staff, participants, and volunteers remain safe, this year’s Stroll & Dash will take place outdoors, in Town of Mount-Royal's beautiful Danyluk Park. Stroll & Dash is the signature event for Sarah’s Fund for Cedars that raises critical funds for the needs of young cancer patients who are hospitalized on Sarah’s Floor.
Without the efforts of our amazing volunteers, we wouldn’t be able to accomplish what we do. Your involvement helps us reach our goal and support vital programs and services to improve the lives of all young cancer patients and their families on Sarah’s Floor at the Montreal Children's Hospital.
Sign up today to help make this year's Stroll & Dash Challenge the best ever!
Sarah's Fund Student Ambassador Program
Another great volunteer opportunity! Grade 9, 10 and 11 students are invited to apply to become Sarah’s Fund student ambassadors. We are also able to accommodate grade 7 and 8 students on a case-by-case basis. Our student ambassadors will lead the charge of motivating their school to participate in Stroll & Dash by organizing teams and motivating their peers. This position will allow students to get a closer look into Sarah’s Fund for Cedars by becoming the representative of this great cause and allowing them to take initiative in helping to plan small fundraisers and providing information about Stroll & Dash and the opportunities available to their school community. All students who successfully complete the ambassadorship program will be given a letter of completion and recommendation.
Taking part in Sarah’s Fund Ambassador Program looks great on post-secondary applications, scholarships, CVs and resumes.
