This year, in partnership with the wonderful folks at the Bell Fund Foundation, we here at SHIP HAPPENS will be taking part yet again in the 20th Annual BDO Cedars CanSupport Dragon Boat Race to help raise awareness and much needed funds for Cedars CanSupport, who provide free, supportive care to cancer patients and their families at the Cedars Cancer Centre of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC).
Plainly put, Cancer is brutal. It's ugly, hard, grueling work and no matter the circumstances, cancer patients and their families face inconceivable challenge after challenge, day after day. Yet in spite of those challenges, they find a way to continue. To persevere. To work. And hopefully, with our efforts combined with donations from our extended community, we can be there to show that when it comes to Cancer, you never have to work alone.
