For the last 13 years, I have been a nurse on the Pediatric Hematology-Oncology unit at the Montreal Childrens Hospital also known as Sarahs floor.  This year, I will once again participate in an event with my family, colleagues and patients to raise money for young cancer patients and their families.

Since its inception, Stroll & Dash has raised nearly $5 million dollars for Sarah?s Fund for Cedars, which supports a variety of programs and services that help young patients, and their families, cope with the stress and trauma that come with a cancer diagnosis and cancer treatments. These include pet therapy, music therapy, art therapy, Dr. Clown, and H.O.P.E the Hematology Oncology Psychotherapy Education program for parents.

Together, we can honour those angels that have forever left an imprint on my heart, celebrate those that have completed treatment and support the little heroes that continue to fight.  

In the darkest night, we bring the brightest hope.
