The Program for Women’s cancer Research continues to need funding to pursue research in the areas of gynecological (ovarian, uterine, cervical, and vulvar) and breast malignancies. Team PWR is working hard to bring new and innovative treatments into practice so that they can decrease treatment-related side effects and improve cure rates in women's cancers.
Join us on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 for the Program for Women’s cancer Research in Radiation Oncology’s annual fundraiser: La Roche-Posay’s Women Chefs Rise for a good cause
Chef Helena Loureiro, along with an all-star team of women chefs that includes Fisun Ecran (2024 Quebec Chef of the Year), Sayaka Prefontaine, Roxanne Lafontaine (Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec), Thi Uyen Vu (St.Pius X Professional Cooking School) and Neptaline Thermitus (pastry chef) will be collaborating and preparing a gastronomic meal that you don’t want to miss. This exclusive event promises an evening of unique, delicious, and meticulously crafted dishes, that showcase the culinary artistry of our featured chefs. Each chef brings her own distinctive style and expertise, creating a menu that will take guests on an unforgettable gastronomic journey.

On November 19, we will officially launch our unique fundraising cookbook magazine which features recipes from top Québec women chefs including Josée di Stasio, Dyan Solomon, Isabelle Deschamps Plante, Fisun Ercan, Geneviève Everell, Helena Loureiro, Émilie Bégin, Chloé Ouellet, Mia Roberts, Charlotte Maurin and Lesley Chesterman. In addition to the recipes, readers will be inspired by stories from women cancer survivors.
Cookbook Launch Cocktail with Signing and Meet & Greet
