RAIN OR SHINE! IT’S DRAGON TIME!
Ready....Set...Paddles up... Go!
Fuller Landau presents the 16th Annual FL Fuller Landau Cedars CanSupport Dragon Boat Race on Sunday, September 12, 2021, and we are pleased to invite you to participate in this fun and inspirational event!
Together We Paddle for Cancer Patients
A one-day event staged at the waterfront of Montreal’s scenic Promenade Père-Marquette in Lachine, the FL Fuller Landau Cedars CanSupport Dragon Boat Race brings together the young and young-at-heart, friends, families, cancer patients and advocates, medical professionals, local celebrities, co-workers, corporate sponsors, civic leaders, experienced paddlers, and rookies all in the spirit of fun and fundraising for an important cause. Wherever your boat places, your inclusion in our race puts you on the front line of support for people who are at their most vulnerable.
Please note that details of the race may change from time to time based on the full application of government rules regarding events and public gatherings.
The holding of the event is conditional on the COVID Alert Zone for the Montreal region remaining at Level 1 Green. If the government increases the preventative measures in place to limit the spread of COVID-19 such that the event cannot take place as planned, we will notify all participants.
The province of Québec has announced that vaccine passports will be required at outdoor events exceeding 50 people, as well as sporting activities including dragon boating. All paddlers, staff, guests and volunteers will be required to show proof of double vaccination before entering the event.
We have reached the capacity limit as prescribed by government rules. Therefore, we will only be able to accommodate paddlers, volunteers and staff on-site.
Please note: a printed or digital copy of your QR code as well as proof of identity will be required for verification. Those who are not vaccinated due to contraindications will need to obtain appropriate documentations from their doctor.
